Correa Answers to El Universo Newspaper Workers

Ecuadorian President, Rafael Correa, answered a letter sent from the workers of El Universo Newspaper  in which they asked the president to stop the trial against the company and its directors.

However, the president maintains his posture and answered the letter with a question, “Is it me the responsible of this situation or those that used the disguise of the “freedom of speech” to illegally show all their hatred against our revolution?”

Correa concluded that he will not permit the trial to affect the families of the workers of newspaper El Universo. (AV)
