Correa travels to Chile to meet Bachelet and receive Honoris Causa

The President of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, announced yesterday that today he will travel to Chile to comply with a schedule of activities that includes a meeting with the elected President, Michelle Bachelet, and to address academic activities.
Correa’s visit is the first of official character of a foreign head of state to Chile in the second term of Bachelet.
“Tomorrow we travel to Chile. Working meeting with Chilean government, Honoris Causa doctorate from the Santiago de Chile University and ECLAC Conference sponsored by Salvador Allende Foundation,” said the president on the social network Twitter.
The Ecuadorian President also announced that this year he will travel to China, Vietnam, Qatar and Israel.
