Correa Will Speak About Media and Democracy in U.S

In a summit of world leaders in the University of Columbia in United States, the Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa will speak next Friday about the press and democracy. According to the official website of the University, the event will be broadcasted live.
The conference is titled as “Vulnerable Societies: media and democracy in Latin America,” which is supported by the Institute of Latin American Studies and the School of Public and International Affairs of the campus.
The Ecuadorian leader will be traveling on Thursday 22, during his visit to New York where he will participate in a conference in the United Nations (UN) to promote the Yasuni –ITT initiative. (AV)
