Council of Citizen Participation and Social Control calls on journalists by Mossack Fonseca leakage
Through a resolution and a public letter, the Council of Citizen Participation and Social Control (CPC) convened journalists Arturo Torres, Andres Jaramillo and Alberto Araujo, of daily El Comercio, and Monica Almeida, Xavier Reyes and Paul Mena, of daily El Universo, “… to a meeting to be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at 10:00, in order to cooperate (…) in the delivery of existing documentation of the investigation conducted by the ICIJ (International Consortium of Investigative Journalists).”
The six journalists participated in the global investigation called Panama Papers on the participation of politicians, businessmen and public figures from more than 50 countries in the creation of companies in tax havens with the help of the Panamanian law firm Mossack Fonseca (MF).
