Country’s Flag Bearers will be Elected in 10th Basic Education Year
The proclamation of country’s flag bearers and flag escorts in private, charters, and state schools will change for the next academic year 2011-2012.
Now the designation will be made in tenth basic education year (known before now as third year) and not in seventh (known before as sixth grade) as it was being done for many years.
A school primary completion certificate will no longer be extended this next year, but a basic education diploma will be given to students at the end of tenth year.
The instructions – which will govern in the hole country starting next school year – are recorded in the office SASG No. 003-11 signed by Beatriz Caicedo Alarcón, Deputy Secretary of Monitoring and Support to the Educational Management.
The communication was sent to education authorities in each province in order to assure that information will be given to managers and principals of schools.
For the proclamation of the best high school student, the average of the last bachelor three years of high school will be taken into account.
