Daily El Telégrafo leaves Editogran and becomes part of a public company

The company that for four and a half years imprinted the newspapers El Telégrafo and PP El Verdadero will disappear and will be replaced by the Public Company El Telegrafo EP.
Executive Order 545, issued last Wednesday, ordered the dissolution of the Anonimus Society of National Graphics Editors (Editogran SA), and the creation this enterprise.
Among the reasons, President Rafael Correa refers to the Communications Law, because in its transitional number nineteenth it is stipulated that companies in charge of media in which the State is a major shareholder, shall conform public media or public companies.
The major shareholder of Editogran SA is the Ministry of Telecommunications, with a participation of 99.99%.
