Former assemblyman Daniel Noboa aspires to the Presidency through an alliance between the PID and Mover movements. It will be the second foray of this man from Guayaquil into politics.
Daniel Noboa Azin, young presidential promise
Daniel Noboa is the first presidential candidate registered for next August’s elections . He will lead the pairing of the ADN alliance , made up of the People, Equality and Democracy (PID) and Mover (formerly PAIS Alliance) movements.
This 35-year-old from Guayaquil will run for his second election. In 2021, he ran for assemblyman for Santa Elena for the now-defunct United Ecuadorian movement, which belonged to Edwin Moreno, brother of former President Lenín Moreno.

He got one of the provincial seats , although his electoral campaign was questioned for giving away rice sacks to citizens.
In the Assembly, he managed to be appointed president of the Economic Development Commission, one of the most important in the Legislature. He achieved this position as part of the agreement that the ruling party reached to designate authorities.
But Daniel Noboa is better known among the public for his family. He is the son of businessman and five-time presidential candidate Álvaro Noboa , but he never participated in elections with his father’s parties. He is married to the ‘influencer’ Lavinia Valbonesi and has a previous marriage.
