Ecuador and Kuwait will sign tourism and trade agreements
The governments of Ecuador and Kuwait plan to sign at least two bilateral agreements , one on tourism and the other on trade, reported the Ecuadorian Foreign Ministry.
Kuwait’s Prime Minister and Head of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al Jaber Al Sabah , received the Ecuadorian Ambassador to Qatar, Pascual del Cioppo , in Kuwait City, the capital of Kuwait, to agree on the final review of two bilateral agreements.
- One of the agreements that is in the final stage is on open skies , with which air connectivity between the two countries could be promoted.
- The second seeks to avoid double taxation , in order to attract Kuwaiti investment to Ecuador.
In addition, the two officials discussed a possible agreement on higher education , which will facilitate student exchange between the two countries.
Similarly, the Kuwaiti authorities showed interest in starting talks for the future negotiation of an agreement on the protection and conservation of the environment .
