After almost a week outside Ecuador, the team of the president-elect, Daniel Noboa, reported that his tour will now continue next week in Madrid (Spain), Washington and New York (United States).
In the first destination, Noboa, who defeated runner-up Luisa González in the second round, will meet with businessmen and will also sign an agreement with La Liga, the entity in charge of the Spanish soccer tournament.
This agreement, according to the new President’s team, plans to expand sports practice among children and adolescents, to keep them away from drugs and criminal gangs.
While in Washington and New York, Noboa will have conversations with investors, investment banks, businessmen and multilaterals.
The president-elect affirmed that so far his official visit to Europe has left positive results, and the support of Spain, Italy and France has been achieved to generate employment and combat violence.
Furthermore, after a telephone conversation with the Spanish president, Pedro Sánchez, Noboa indicated that Spain will support the Schengen visa exemption for Ecuadorians.
