Former president Gutierrez, following his busy schedule of campaign, conducted tours all around Guayaquil. His caravan began in Mapasingue and then made small runs door to door in Sauces, Las Orquideas, Alborada and Florida.

Gutierrez took the opportunity to shake hands with his supporters and followers, while reassuring that he will “fight against crime”.

Businessman Alvaro Noboa, wearing a traditional poncho, walked yesterday along with his wife, Annabella Azin, and various Assembly candidates, in the Carapungo sector, in the Calderon parish, north of Quito.

Upon their arrival in the sector, Noboa and his supporters, moved to the sewing workshop of Mrs. Doris Chala Maldonado, who was handed a industrial sewing machine and sewing implements so that, this humble housewife may begin her micro enterprise and eventually be ablo to create job opportunities.

“I do not promise jobs, I give jobs! Starting today, Doris Chala will have her own micro enterprise, a sewing workshop, “said Noboa.

Several people approached lawyer Noboa to complain about corruption and neglect carried out by the current government, to which Noboa said: “The Ecuadorians do not want speeches, they want to jobs, and that is a symbol of what I will do in my administration”

Noboa is scheduled to visit the Velasco Ibarra, Libertad and Salinas neighborhoods in Quito.
