Cristina Castro announced that she will participate, as well as the Mayor of the municipality of Magdalena del Mar, Francis Allison, who declared the Ambassador “persona non grata”.
On the other hand, the Governments of Peru and Ecuador called their respective ambassadors, however Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa defends Riofrio, and says that he was attacked by the two women and, therefore, there was no place to accept the request for withdrawal.
