Both sides were guarded by police to avoid clashes, like those of Monday.

Assembly members of Alianza País Marcela Aguinaga, Paola Pabon, Gabriela Rivadeneira and the prefect of Pichincha, Gustavo Baroja, were present at the Shyris tribune.

According to experts consulted, popular demonstrations did not happen for years in the country. The annoyance by government measures such as inheritance, capital gains and Galapagos; amendments to existing laws, as profits and retirement pensions, among others.
