Deportation of Cubans concern the Human Rights Watch organization

The international organization Human Rights Watch (HRW) expressed “deep concern” over the deportations of Cubans executed by Ecuador over the weekend, before “the complaints received about violations of due process.”

Official figures speak of 151 foreigners who, from July 7, faced proceedings in the Infringements Unit to define their immigration status.

They organized themselves in a camp outside the Embassy of Mexico in Quito and in La Carolina Park, as a protest requesting the humanitarian visa to go to America.
