Deportivo Quito lost to Independiente

IndependIente Jose Teran halted the campaign of Deportivo Quito to retake the leadership of the tournament  with a win of 2-0 entered the fight for the top of the scoreboard when reaching 36 points. The team is now in the second position and is waiting for results of The 19th date of the National Championship.

In a match filled with emotions, both teams looked for the  rival’s goal but  Independiente was the most dangerous; It achieved the first goal with a shot of Jefferson Orejuela, who took advantage of a defective clearance and with a corner shot defeated the chulla’s goal. In the minute number 62, Luis Ayala scored the second goal with a left kick.

Emelec, that will play with Cuenca tomorrow and Liga de Quito, which receives El Nacional this afternoon, are the most benefited with the result, which slows down the Quito and increases their chances if winning their matches,  of winning the first stage and qualify for the final of the Ecuadorian national soccer championship, Copa Libertadores and Copa Suramericana.
