The MTV Video Music Awards gala held yesterday in The Nokia Theatre of Los Angeles brought together music and film stars, celebrities, and of course, hundreds of fans.

Katty Perry took three astronauts after having 10 nominations. The most representative for her was the Video of the Year award for her song “Firework”. Tyler, The Creator was Best New Artist, while Lady Gaga received the award for Best Female Video and then returned to the stage to receive the trophy for Best Video with a Message for her song “Born This Way,” Likewise; Justin Bieber won the statuette for Best Male Video. The award for Best Collaboration fell on Katty Perry and Kanye West for “E.T.” video. Nicki Minaj took the astronaut statuette for Best Hip-Hop Video.
