“Discover the Revolution,” slogan of Ecuador in the Milan Expo 2015

Ecuador has its pavilion at the Expo Milan since last May, which promotes the country. It is expected that the President of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, visits it on Saturday, in addition to participating in the celebration of the National Day of Ecuador.

The Ecuadorian pavilion covers an area of over 800 square meters, divided into 3 levels. According to the Ministry of Foreign Trade, business conferences for 16 local companies as well as gastronomic promotion activities that serve as a liaison between producers and buyers from around the world are developed in this space.

The country counts on an interactive museum exhibition about the Amazon, Andean and coastal regions, and about the Galapagos Islands. The visit of at least 400,000 people to the stand of Ecuador in Milan is expected. The motto of the national strategy is “Discover the Revolution.”

It is estimated that hundreds of people have visited the Ecuadorian pavilion from its inauguration on May 9.
