Disney World Changes Tickets for Digital Bracelets
Now the visitors of the popular amusement park won’t have to worry about losing their ticket. Disney has developed a wireless bracelet that functions as a Passport to all the attractions of the park. The bracelet known as “Magic Band” awaits the approval of the FCC (Federal Communications Commission)
The bracelet has an intern battery, not rechargeable, a small antenna and two passive etiquettes RFID (using radio frequency identification), this device operates in the 2.4 GHz band and can communicate with the Access turnstiles. The wristband is completely sealed so that children don’t extract their components. Additionally it can be personalized with a username so its identification is easier.
The RFID bracelet of Disney allows to forgo the traditional tickets to access the theme parks it also Works with the FastPass system of Disneyland. AV
