Doris Soliz leaves the Council of Media Regulation

After representing the National Equality Councils for 12 days in the Council of Regulation and Development of Information and Communication, the Minister of Economic and Social Inclusion (MIES), Doris Soliz, will be replaced by Tamara Merizalde Manjarres.
Merizalde is a sociologist by profession and has an extensive professional record. She was director of the Institute for Children and Families, director of the Child Rescue Operation Program, General Coordinator of Child Development at the INFA, among others.
The sociologist becomes the third member of the organization, which aims to regulate media in Ecuador. The other two members are Patricio Barriga (Executive Officer) and Paulina Mongrovejo (Ombudsman delegate).
