This is considered the most important because by the government because it can produce 1,500 megawatts (MW) of power. Its cost amounts to $ 1,979 million.

 

The turbines will generate 750 MW, equivalent to 15% of domestic consumption, said the technicians.

 

The construction of the plant, located between the provinces of Napo and Sucumbios, began in July 2010.
