The director of the production company Avatar Digital-HD Cinema, Juan Xavier Borja, captured the Sacred Heart of Jesus sculpture at “del Carmen” Mount in Guayaquil with a drone (unmanned aerial vehicle) known as Quadcopter.

This imported drone allows to take control of the camera from the ground and is able to fly over 500 meters in open field, and up to half a kilometer height .Thus, he was able to photograph the image details and share them today at El Universo journal.

The artist, who made the footage as part of a personal project, added: “It is not even a professional equipment, but rather semiprofessional. It is a very basic tiny camera, with 4,000 lines of resolution. ”

Meanwhile, Father Romulo Aguilar, rector of the Cathedral, said that this image is one of the religious icons Guayaquil has, a city that fervently feels the days before Easter.
