E-commerce conquers Ecuador

Ecuadornews:
A virtual mall where users have access to their favorite stores without having to mobilize is the goal of Mi.tienda, an e-commerce enterprise that employs around 15 Ecuadoreans, who decided to create this service a year ago.
The beta version, says Camilo Cruz, general manager of the company, was launched last May and was well received. “We developed several online payment options and a delivery service of nationwide coverage. Each store has its custom space and subdomain. We collect the products from the establishment, and we charge,” Cruz says.
In addition, the website makes shipments into the United States. Cruz explains that users request the products and Mi.tienda carries out the “paperwork.” (I)
