Earthquake in Colombia was felt in Ecuador

This morning there was an earthquake of magnitude 7 in Colombia, 5 kilometers northeast of Yacuanquer.

The epicenter was located in Túquerres 123 km depth, 11 km from Pasto and 200 km from Quito, so it was also felt strongly in Ecuador.

Alfredo Munoz, director of the Civil Defense in Risaralda (Colombia), told to Tiempo Newspaper after visiting the 14 municipalities of the department, that the quake left no damages.

In Ecuador, the National Risk Secretariat reported that the quake was felt in 12 of the 24 provinces of the country, mainly in the coastal and central highlands.
