First month of ruling Venezuela without Chavez

Nicolás Maduro
Two months have passed since the president of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez, left the country in order to haw a surgery again to fight his cancer in Havana (Cuba), and one month has passed since, as reelected president, had to assume such functions. But the head of state is in the postoperative stage and despite the uncertainty of his health situation, the vice president Nicolás Maduro is still in charge.
Hugo Chavez, by constitutional mandate, should have sworn on January 10 for a further period, for his third in succession, which should end in 2019, but he did not, so the Supreme Court decided that he could do it when recovering from surgery on Dec. 11 in Havana.
According to ABC, the Venezuelan leader will not recover from his illness and has lost his voice altogether. Even there are speculations that the leader is already died.
