Ecuador awaits notification on the asylum given to Emilio Palacio

Ecuador has requested official confirmation from the State Department of the United States regarding the decision to grant asylum to Emilio Palacio, said in his twitter account the Deputy Foreign Minister of Ecuador, Marco Albuja, in one of the first versions of the ad.

 It is an administrative decision of the immigration agents, said Albuja. “For now it is confirmed that they have not granted political asylum status, let’s see the figure may have been used,” he writes. (FL)
