Ecuador dropped a position in FIFA ranking

The national team fell a position, while Brazil won a position in the  world ranking released on Thursday by the International Federation of football associations (FIFA) of February, which took into account 42 international matches, of which only two were official and other friendly.

Spain, with 1,506 points, was positioned  ahead of Germany (1.314) and Argentina (1255), which continue unchanged in their positions in the table, while Portugal won the fourth position to Colombia and Brazil did the same thing with the Netherlands to be placed ninth.
Switzerland, rival of the Tricolor in the first stage of the next World Cup, now occupies the sixth position after beating Uruguay and Italy.
