Ecuador ranks 50 according to ranking of social progress

Ecuador ranks 50th among 132 countries, in the ranking of social progress, according to a study conducted by Social Progress Imperative, a non-profit organization, and which was released yesterday by the private firm Deloitte in Ecuador.According to the analysis, at the South American level the Ecuadorian State is located in fifth place after Uruguay, Chile, Argentina and Brazil. And among the 22 countries in the Latin American region occupies the ninth position.
This index identifies, in addition, the major weaknesses of Nations, than in the case of Ecuador represents it lack of “nutrition and basic health care”. In this segment falls to the 80 position globally.
