Posted On 13 Aug 2014
Ecuador obtained loans totaling around $142 million from India, for investment in projects of power lines, said Deputy Foreign Minister Leonardo Arízaga.
Arízaga met in recent days in New Delhi with the Minister of Foreign Affairs in India Sushma Swaraj, “in order to elevate our relations beyond the political and diplomatic”.
At this meeting Ecuador presented to the Minister a catalog of strategic projects for about 28,000 million (nearly 21,000 million Euros), in sectors such as telecommunications and water.
India will also support the Yachay excellence center in new technologies to train computer technicians, and on the recovery of movies, said Arizaga.
