Ecuador sent a delegation to Italy to discuss the case of dozens of children who are separated from their migrant parents because of a strict law to protect minors.
Ricardo Patiño and the Minister of Justice, Ledy Zuniga, traveled to Italy to meet with Italian authorities since Monday.
“The Ecuadorian mission will meet with Mayors, Presidents of the juvenile courts and the Italian Minister of Justice,” said the Foreign Ministry. The authorities will remain in Italy until Wednesday.
