Ecuador, the sixth country in the region with more ATMs

Ecuador is the sixth country with the most ATMs in Latin America according to the accounting conducted by the DataLab application of the Association of Banks Asobanca.

According to data collected, Ecuador has 3,999 points of connection with financial institutions. Mexico is the country that most ATMs offer has: 48,118 points, followed by Argentina (19,750) and Colombia (15,227). Data from Brazil, Costa Rica, and the Dominican Republic were not collected, hence their exclusion from the ranking.

Chile (7,725 ATMs) and Peru (7,650 points) are above Ecuador. Guatemala, Bolivia, Uruguay, Panama, Honduras, El Salvador, Paraguay and Nicaragua are behind in the ranking (I).
