Ecuador will access to the tariff preferences in the European Union

The Commission on International Trade of the European Parliament adopted on Thursday, December 4 the validity of a proposed regulation submitted by the European Commission last October. The same that seeks to give to Ecuador tariff preferences until the trade agreement negotiated with the European Union (EU) takes effect. Thus said the Minister of Trade, Francisco Rivadeneira.

Later this month, the GSP Plus, which allows the entry of Ecuadorian products to that block with tariff exemptions, ends.
