Ecuadorian kills his family in Florida
Pedro Jose Maldonado, an Ecuadorian of 53 years, who lived in 4266 Vineyard Circle the Courtyard at the Grove community of Weston, Florida, murdered his wife, Monica Narvaez-Maldonado, 47, and his son Pedro Jose Jr., 19, at home, on Monday. Using a hand crossbow as a weapon, after trying to kill, without success, to his second son, 21, he committed suicide.
After the double murder, Maldonado was on the road to Tallahassee, where his eldest son, Jose Maldonado lives, he shot him with an arrow and shot him, but he turned right on time and the arrow hit him in the ear, after failing his attempt the Ecuadorian tried to strangle his son, but Jose defended himself from his father and fled. His son made no report regarding the attack.
The conscience of the Ecuadorian made him confess his crime to a friend in Miami, hours later a SWAT team found him dead in the bathroom of a motel. He had cut his throat with a knife.
So far police have not released the reasons that led to Ecuador to perform the actions he did. However Vina Sink, mother of a classmate of Pedro Jr., said that Maldonado feared being deported back to Ecuador.
