Ecuadorian Coast is Among the Favorite Holiday Destinations

Posted On 04 Nov 2010

The Ecuadorian coast was one of the most visited destinations in the holidays. Jimmy Rosado, km 24 Chongón toll, said that since last Friday until yesterday at 15h00, about 62,000 vehicles (light, heavy and extra heavy)—85% were private—left the city.

According to Rosado, Sunday and Monday were the days of increased output. The car line started 07h00 and it extended to Valle Alto (suburbs) “About 11.000 cars went out and 10.000 cars on Monday.”

There was an increase in the number of vehicles returning to Guayaquil since 17h00 (yesterday), however, that can not compare to the car waiting lines on Tuesday.
