Ecuadorian creates device to save gasoline
Cesar Torres has created a device which by its placement in the combustion chambers of engines of cars, trucks, boats, generators or power plants, saves fuel and reduces pollution.
The invention of this computer engineer, is called ‘Hidroxiecuador’ and is responsible for atomically decompose the water that enters the engine that is installed, to generate hydrogen and oxygen and so the use of fuel is reduced by up to 40%.
The idea arose when he was young, when reading one of the works of Julio Verne he discovered that water could be turn into fuel. He began to inquire about that possibility, then he designed the device and now is being produced by hand.
Torres estimates that so far it has sold 800 devices, half in Ecuador and the other in Costa Rica, United States, Colombia, Peru and Chile, although he expects to reach markets of other countries like the Netherlands, where he want to put a plant.
In addition, France, Portugal and Spain have requested information in order to obtain representation of his product, which has the support of the municipality of Quito and the Ecuadorian Ministry of coordination of production.
The cost of this innovative device varies according to the strength of the vehicle capacity, e.g. for cars from 1. 000 cubic centimeters to large trucks of 16.000 cubic cm, prices range between USD 200 and 800, although he expects to reduce costs by 25% or 30% in a semi industrial production.
