Ecuadorian Government Extends State of Emergency on Public Health

Aiming to complete the health infrastructure improvements and the construction of several hospitals in Ecuador, the Government has decided to extend one month the state of emergency in the public health sector.
The Ministry of Health reported that this extension was made because of the construction of thirteen new hospitals in seven provinces of Ecuador, as well as the purchase of 90 ambulances and because they are providing dozens of health units.
