Ecuadorian Government Will Recognize 80% of Tariffs Due to Lack of Atpdea

The Tax Credit certificate will recognize 80% of tariffs paid on domestic products that used to be exported to the United States.
This decision was made by the Council of Foreign Commerce (Comex), that left the resolution ready just to be sent yesterday to the Gazette for the implementation of the measure later this month.
This compensation in favor of the sectors affected by the failure of the Andean Trade Preference System renewal will not exceed 15% for agricultural products and 25% for manufactured goods, handicrafts, and fishery of the FOB value declared in the respective customs clearance in the destination country.
