Ecuadorian Jumper got Eliminated in World Athletics

Diego Ferrin loses high jump category

Diego Ferrin, 23, the Ecuadorian jumper was eliminated this Tuesday in the first round of high jump in the World Athletics of Daegu, South Korea. Ferrin ended in the tenth place during the qualification period with a score 2,21 meters, this earned him the spot 23 of 33 participants.

Ferrin top score was 2,28 meters, which he needed to maintain in order to reach the final. Meanwhile Ecuador still has three participants in the World Athletics, Rolando Saquipay and Andres Chocho will march the 50 kilometers, while Yadira Guaman will perform the 20 kilometers of march. (AV)
