Ecuadorian presidency auctions girfs for charity
The Presidency of Ecuador aims to raise $ 1’118.089,15 with the auction of jewelry and watches that were given away to President Rafael Correa, his wife and the official delegation on their visits to Qatar and Switzerland in 2014 and at the South America and Arab countries 2015 Summit.
The figure is the sum of base prices of nine jewelry sets (necklaces, bracelets, watches, pens, gold and diamonds brooches) and 42 Rolex, Mouawad Geneve, Vacheron Constantin Geneve, Girard-Perregaux, Hublot, Monaco, Versace, Salvatore Ferragamo, Movado, Raymond Weil, Charriol, Bvlgari watches, among brands.
The money Correa announced in its last weekly address, will go to charity, as it was done in the past, in favor of people with health problems or homeless people.
