Ecuadorian regime aims to strengthen the Coast ports

The government initiated a study for upgrading the seaports in Guayaquil, Esmeraldas and Manta it also reviewing the amendments to the Code of Land Management (COOTAD).
Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa said, through its Saturday broadcast link 332, that they are carrying out studies to determine the location of the port of Guayaquil between Posorja and Chanduy, at the same time he recognized that such work will not be completed in this period of government.
The regime leader noted that the seaports are the responsibility of the central government, adding that the three ports will have a capacity of 50 million tons and, in the case of Manta, it will have a 15 meters draft ready between 2014 and 2015, with an investment of $ 70 million.
