Ecuadorian residents in China don’t appear to be infected

The appearance of a virus in China and that is spreading to several countries , known as coronaviruses , has not affected Ecuadorians residing in that nation .

The Ecuadorian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that before the emergency unleashed in the People’s Republic of China they have not received reports from affected countrymen .

Through a statement they said that none of the Ecuadorian citizens living in that country are infected or affected.

The embassy and consulates deployed in that nation indicated that they are constantly monitoring and accompanying all Ecuadorians in that country .

The World Health Organization (WHO) pointed out that the coronavirus causes various diseases ranging from the common cold to severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS).

Reports from China indicate that in that country until Sunday , 56 people died and 1,976 are infected .

The virus has reached countries in Europe and Asia, in America the United States reported two cases and in Colombia a Chinese citizen was hospitalized with symptoms of the disease .
