Ecuadorian teenagers are the most “facebookers” in the region

A resent study made by Findasense shows that, teenagers between 14 and 19 years old in Ecuador, are the once that use Facebook the most in Latin America. This research was done with 700 people between these ages in the region.

According to the researchers, teenagers are “moment collector, their memory is Google and the Instagram phenomenon has made them develop a new “anticipated memory” because they imagine the result of the experience they live, the photo, even before it happens”.

In Ecuador, 35% of the people interviewed begin and end their day with Facebook, and 32% sending text messages through WhatsApp. During the free time, Ecuadorian teenagers prefer spending those minutes checking Facebook, with a 37% for those who are between 14 and 16 years old, and 45% for those who are between 17 and 19. Likewise, this social media is the most preferred to search and find a couple.
