Ecuadorians in Spain Are Losing Space

The elections of the City Hall performed in Spain favored Partido Popular (PP), this worries the immigrant community since this political party has some hard measures regarding the irregular migration.

During one of its many speeches, Partido Popular of Catalonia (PPC) had strong words regarding its xenophobia like in Barcelona. Many immigrants as well as a large number of Spaniards show their concern on the possible effect that the victory of PP has over the immigrant policies.

Immigrants now fear that Barcelona is the guinea pig operation of PP for their new popular politics. These mean easy solutions for complex problems and blame everything to the foreigners and see the results.
