Constanza Baez Jalil, representative of Ecuador in the most important beauty pageant of the universe, won the third place in this contest, which is reached for the first time. The event took place on Saturday in the Crocus City Hall in Moscow.
The Venezuelan Gabriela Isler won the Crown and the representative of Spain, Patricia Yurena Rodríguez was ranked second.

Constanza, who last March 9, won the title of Miss Ecuador 2013 at the Eloy Alfaro Civic Center Theatre, expressed her happiness for this achievement, which was the result of hard work and faith.
The Director of the Miss Ecuador contest, María del Carmen de Aguayo, said that the triumph of Constanza, is not only because she is a very attractive young woman, but also for her preparation with the Organization, and then for the great support received from her family and her boyfriend.

However, according to the stylist Antonio Sepúlveda, who was in charge of styling Constanza, the hair color of the representative of Ecuador at the contest, influenced in her historical location.
“There are very nice blonde girls in Miss Universe. We wanted to rescue her latin factions. Her hair was toned a little to give her a more latin look. Constanza’s hair now is blonde, but not as the European,”said Sepulveda.
For her part, designer Elvia Alvarado, who made the costume she wore at Miss Universe, said that the dress has a “Latin air”. The mint gown was embroidered in fine rhinestone, asymmetrical, one-shoulder and with a Mermaid style, with feathers and glass bottom.
“Everything has a reason. The choice of the dress was the product of a meeting with her parents. We try to find a design that would they would like and that feel safe.”, said the designer.
The President of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, complimented Constanza through the social network Twitter , by having obtained the third place in the Miss Universe. “Congratulations to Constanza for her wonderful performance in Russia! “, wrote the President.
