‘Thor’ leads the box office in the United States

Screen Shot 2013-11-13 at 14.07.55The premiere of the second installment of “Thor,” widely beat the films “Bad Grandpa,” “Last Vegas,” and “Ender’s Game,”  this weekend at the American box office.

“Thor : A dark world,” starring Australian actor Chris Hemsworth, grossed $ 85.7 million in its first weekend in theaters in the States, while “Bad Grandpa” placed in the second position with revenues of $ 11.3 million in the same weekend.

The animated film “Free Birds” takes third place with a total of $ 30.1 million since its release, while the adventures of actors Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, Kevin Kline and Michael Douglas in “Last Vegas” remains in fourth place with $ 11 million raised this week (and $ 33.5 million in two weeks.)

The film “Ender’s Game”, which marks the return of Harrison Ford to the universe of science fiction dropped from first to fifth place, with $ 10.3 million and a total of $ 44 million.
