Mohammed Morsi, the president of Egypt, has promoted himself as a negotiator to reach a ceasefire in the conflict between Israel and Hamas. Today Morsi anticipated that the end of the Israeli hostilities will occur this same day, the seventh day of confrontations.

“The false Israeli aggression to Gaza will end in a few hours,” said Morsi. While Israel announced that it will temporarily suspend a land offensive to give limited time for a diplomatic solution, assured an Israeli official. “The solution must achieve that no more rockets be fired from Hamas and Israel.”
