El Universo Case: President Correa Denies video of former columnist Palacio

This morning the Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa denied the video that the former columnist for El Universo, Emilio Palacio presented yesterday. The video showed president Correa giving the order to shoot down the “Country traitors.”

Through his twitter account the president explained how the content of the video was manipulated. One day after Palacio presented this new evidence to the District office. The Ecuadorian president replied with comments like “did you see the last video?” or “sick journalist” in reference to the former columnist.

Yesterday the state El Ciudadano newspaper  pointed out in its website that the video presented by Emilio Palacio does not a prove that the President ordered to shoot during the 30-S events. (AV)
