The most important athletes of the world, led by Usain Bolt, Olympic champion in the 2012 London Olympic Games, will face each other tomorrow in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), in a 150 meters competition over a track across the sand of Copacabana beach. Among the participants, the presence of Ecuadorian Alex Quinonez is being highlighted, which is the seventh fastest man in the world in the 200 meters category.
The race, which will be overseen by the International Association of Athletics Federations, it is unusual, however it has raised high expectations for the quality of the sprinters and has been called “a hand on hand challenge.” Besides Bolt and Quinonez, Daniel Bailey of Antigua and Jerome Singleton, of United States, will be present.
