Emelec, with a 2-1 lead achieved last week in the Capwell Stadium, today visits Fluminense in Brazil with the goal to win or tie and classify the quarterfinals of the Copa Libertadores, but could also achieve it on penalties if it falls 2 to 1.
The team led by Gustavo Quinteros gets its two stellar central defenders, Gabriel Achilier and Cristian Nasuti, who were absent in the first leg over suspension and the coach has made clear his intentions to qualify the cup.
The Flu, defending champion Brazil will advance to the next round if it wins 1-0 (its goal in Guayaquil would worth), if they beat Emelec 2-1, they would go to penalties due to the global equality. Emelec will go to quarterfinals if it loses scoring more than a goal (3-2, 4-3, for example).
