Emelec fell against Liga de Quito

Liga de Quito took advantage of the decline of championship leader Emelec, who for the second consecutive time lost at home (last week fell against Independiente 0-2), and won 0-1 at the Capwell Stadium; a result that allowed them to reach the Blue team in the scoreboard with 35 points.

Ecuadorian soccer leader throughout the year, lost one of its most important games, since it was reached in the first position  and its chances of finishing first are now reduce.

On date 19,  Manta and Catolica tied with 2 goals, and the match betweeen Liga de Loja and Macara ended scoreless. Today’s date is complete with Independent and Barcelona’s match in Salgonquí, Deportivo Quito against El Nacional in Quito, and  Deportivo Quevedo against Cuenca.

Also yesterday started the Confederations Cup in Brazil with a victory from the locals against Japan 3-0.

Today Spain faces Uruguay. Also participate in the preparing tournament for the World Cup: Italy for being vice-champion inEurope, Mexico, winner of CONCACAF, Nigeria, representing Africa, and the unknown Tahiti, Oceania champion.
