Emelec wants to keep fighting

Emelec is seeking a victory so they can continue in the fight for qualification to the “round of 16” in the Libertadores Cup, where they will play against Deportes Iquique, Chile, in the George Capwell Stadium tonight, starting at 21h45.

The millionaires have suffered two falls in foreign territory. First Peñarol 1-0 in Montevideo and 2-0, last week, against the Chileans.

The only victory that was achieved by Emelec was in the first round, when they defeated  Velez Sarsfield by the minimum difference.

For this game, the players led by Gustavo Quinteros, will play without the defender Gabriel Achilier, who was expelled in the previous game, against the same rival .
