Eugenio Espejo Recognition will be Delivered to Illustrious Citizens

The award ceremony will be held at Salon Amarillo of the Ecuadorian Presidency. There the chosen citizens will receive a medal as well as $ 10,000 and a pension of five unified minimum wage ($ 1,320) each.
The winners are: Guillermo Ayovi (Esmeraldas), leader of Papá Roncón, who rescued the marimba, Rafael Diaz (Guayas), poet and journalist of Guayaquil, has won several national awards; Special Olympics (international) which seeks to improve the lives of people with intellectual disabilities through sports; Luigi Stornaiolo (Pichincha), Painter Quito, a neo-figurative painter of local and international renown. Amen Jose Palma (Manabi) an urologist and second citizen of Manabí who received such award. (BG)
